Cafeteria Cook is a supervisory position. Primarily responsible for the smooth functioning of all aspects of the staff member dining room and all aspects of the food preparation for the staff member. They are supervised by the Executive Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine. Chef de Partie jobs in Doha

What you will be doing:

– Oversee the day-to-day operation of his or her station, ensuring best practice and adhering to the hotel Standards, policies and procedures.
– Develops recipes for specials and new menu items.
– Creates and changes monthly menu to give staff a varied choice of menu options.
– Refers guest problems or complaints to a supervisor.
– Maintains kitchen according to hotel standards.
– Adheres to hotel standards for guest service.

– Ensuring a pleasant dining experience for employees by greeting them in a friendly manner, listening to their order and providing food in a timely manner.
– Maintains a clean and neat serving area for the employee food choices.
– Complies and turns in monthly inventory.
– Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
– Helps preparation for main kitchen, if needed.
– Performs other job-related duties as directed.
– Supervise the activities of the Cooks.

Requirements
Your experience and skills include:

– A 2-year degree/certificate in culinary arts is preferred, but not required.
– Must have previous food preparation experience.
– Must possess a demeanor and the ability to handle stressful situations maturely and courteously.
– Must take pride in your work and be able to present high-quality food to staff member.
– Must be able to work any day, and schedule.
– Experience in the hotel industry. High level of competency in own job.
– Good knowledge of English.
– Qualities / Competencies: Credibility, integrity, enthusiasm, assertiveness, good communicator, motivation, researcher.
