Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Organize, prepare and teach practical labs for foundation students
• Facilitate small group teaching such as problem based learning (PBL) for medical students.
• Provide support in the clinical sciences labs of physiology, anatomy and biochemistry for medical students.
• Assist in organizing medical student’s hospital visits for their units practical sessions.
• Assist in the foundation assessments and examinations.
• Assist in the Anatomy and Physiology OSPE assessments.
• Participate in other activities as assigned by the department chair or college dean.

Job Requirements and Qualifications :

• Bachelor degree Medicine & Surgery (MBBS)
• At least Three years of experience in clinical or educational setting

  Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Highly competent in organizing and prioritizing workloads
• Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and initiative to identify and rectify problems
• Advanced computer literacy with a willingness to update skills as required
• Demonstrated experience in practical and small group teaching.
