Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Assist estimation team & provide design concept sketches / drawings in the tendering phase.
• Study & analyze the job file from department manager after signing the letter of intent or the contract.
• Study, review & analyze the projects scope, BOQ & Specification to obtain all necessary data with the team leader / senior support
• Develop & design shop drawings and submit them to consultant / contractor for reviewing & approval directly or through coordinators.
• Ensure the structural checks done for all necessary components prior to shop drawings.
• Maintain necessary specification for standard / non-standard constructions.
• Develop shop drawings resubmissions to the consultant / contractors till getting the final approval.
• Provide assistance to factory & site if required.
• Receive size dimensions from operation department through the coordinators; and issue the work order according to site dimensions.
• Handle variations designs in case of addition upon the consultant / contractor request.
• Handle Rejections cases by passing again through fabrication & ordering phase.
• Prepare as Built for some projects to compare projects drawings VS executed drawings.
• Handle Material Calculation with Material Section.
• Handle any related task as assigned.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
Relevant bachelor degree in Engineering.
• Very Good command of English.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Autocad,2D,3D Max.
• An excellent grasp of engineering and design principles.
• An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
