Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Communicating with the freight forwarders to book the vessels & air cargo according to the planned shipping schedule.
• Issuing the shipping orders to the approved forwarders.
• Communicating with the approved loading surveyor to conduct the loading survey for each shipment.
• Conducting the standard inspection to ensure the safety of the containers before and after loading.
• Supervising the loading of shipments to ensure the items, packaging, loading scheme, actual quantities, gross weight and net weight as planned.
• Preparing the packing list.
• Communicating with the customs clearance broker to ensure that every shipment is well delivered and cleared from POL.
• Tracking shipments to monitor the estimated dates of departure and arrival.
• Forwarding the set of shipping documents to the concerned party through express courier.
• Updating the shipping follow-up sheet on a daily basis, and to share it with the involved parties.
• Receiving, reviewing and archiving clearance claims.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree preferable from Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport or Commerce.
• Previous experience as a logistics coordinator is preferable.
• Very good spoken and written English & Arabic Languages..
• Perfect communicator.
• Quick learner.
