Job Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Implements specific Plumbing & fire-fighting engineering works in accordance with the work program of a project or as requested within his Section.
2. Organizes and supervises the work of engineers and draftsmen allocated to him and provides relevant support and/or advice to project teams as applicable.
3. Responsible for efficient and effective design of Plumbing & fire-fighting engineering works, preparation of drawings, contract documents, etc.
4. Liaises as directed with consulting engineers, and/or contractors on all matters necessary for the implementation of the work program of the project.
5. Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Plumbing & Fire Fighting Section Head or his responsible Principal Plumbing & Fire Fighting Engineer, as applicable.

Job Requirements and Qualifications :

1. Years of Experience : 4-6 years
2. Knowledge of Plumbing & Fire Fighting design standards and codes
3. Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers and related software, including CAD tools, ELITE calculation program and Word Processing Software.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with persons at all levels
5. Strong analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
6. Excellent communication, team-player skills
7. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and directives
8. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form
9. Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
10. Ability to motivate staff through proper direction and counseling.
11. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization.
