Job Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer s networks and in house servers.
2. Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
3. Keep an eye out for needed updates
4. Support and administer third-party applications
5. Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
6. Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords
7. Resolve problems reported by end user
8. Define network policies and procedures
9. Specify system requirements and design solutions
10. Research and make recommendations on server system administration.

Job Requirements and Qualifications :

1. Proven experience in a network administrator role
2. Hands on experience in networking, routing, and switching
3. Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
4. Ability to set up and configure server hardware
5. Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
6. Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
7. Familiar with Cisco equipment.
8. BSc degree in Computer Science or related field.
