Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Define and write new features in collaboration with roboVics leadership team
• Understanding roboVics Products business model, and identifying technical solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of our products.
• Identifying opportunities to improve software performance
• Performing basic server maintenance
• Taking a service-oriented approach to all work and with a fast-paced culture, friendly working environment
• Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
B.Eng. /BS. /MS. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• 3-5 years of experience writing PHP and ideally Laravel.
• Experience working with a Javascript framework like Vue or Angular.
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with the basics of build tools like Webpack.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns.
• The ability to reconcile the needs of a growing business with responsible technical decisions.
• The ability to communicate the rationale and processes behind technical decisions to non-technical people within the organization.
• The ability to guide and collaborate with junior developers.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments is a must.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
