Job Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy.
2. Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store
3. Produce window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays
4. Monitor costs and work within budget.
5. Oversee the production and brief staff on arranging displays
6. Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes
7. Liaise with suppliers and source elements
8. Research lifestyle, demographics and design trends.

Job Requirements and Qualifications :

1. Proven work experience as a visual merchandiser or visual manager
2. Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio
3. Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilization
4. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools
5. Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
6. Proficiency in MS Office
7. Creative and innovative thinker
8. Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results
9. BS degree in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications or similar.
