Job Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
2.  Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
3.  Collaborate with programmers to write code using languages such as HTML or XML, and ensure that all written code complies with industry standards and is usable on different browsers and devices
4.  Implement graphics, videos and transitions to enhance a websites effectiveness and add dimension to the content
5.  Analyze website security and implement message encryption and firewalls for better control over confidential information.
6.  Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas are a plus.

Job Requirements and Qualifications :

1. Proven work experience as a web designer
2.  Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
3.  Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
4.  Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
5.  Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
6.  Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
7.  Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies.
